How does UPS2 work?
As heat demand decreases, the thermostatic valves begin to close. UPS2 automatically reduces the differential pressure and its performance to match actual demand.
This reduces electricity consumption, limits noise in the valves and improves the regulation of the heating system.
Suitable liquids
- Clean water in heating systems.
- Clean, thin, non-aggressive and non-explosive liquids.
- Water that meets accepted quality standards for heating systems.

Installation guidelines
- The pump is installed with a horizontal motor shaft.
- Before starting, the system must be filled and bled.
- Do not start the pump when there is no liquid.
- Ensure the required minimum inlet pressure.
- The electrical connection must be carried out in accordance with local regulations.
- No external motor protection is required.
Select model UPS2
The two models differ in the nominal diameter of the connection. Both have a maximum head of 8 m and a port length of 180 mm.
| Model | Nominal diameter | Maximum pressure | Port length | Joining | Product number |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25-80 | DN 25 | 8 m | 180mm | G 1 1/2 | 98707853 |
| 32-80 | DN 32 | 8 m | 180mm | G2 | 98707855 |
25-80 (Model: 98707853)
UPS2 circulation pump with nominal diameter DN 25, maximum head 8 m and port length 180 mm. Suitable for domestic heating systems with G 1 1/2 connection, including one-pipe, two-pipe and underfloor heating systems.
The model offers three speeds and three proportional pressure curves for adjustment to the actual heat demand.
32-80 (Model: 98707855)
Circulation pump UPS2 with nominal diameter DN 32, maximum head 8 m and port length 180 mm. Suitable for heating systems with larger pipe diameters and G 2 connection.
The model provides energy-efficient circulation, low noise and the ability to choose between constant speed and proportional pressure.
Control modes
Proportional pressure
With proportional control, the pump adapts its performance to the actual heat demand. When the flow rate is reduced, the differential pressure is also reduced, which limits noise and consumption.
- PP1: Lowest proportional pressure curve.
- PP2: Average proportional pressure curve.
- PP3: Highest proportional pressure curve.
Constant speed
At constant speed, the pump operates according to a selected constant characteristic regardless of the actual flow rate in the system.
- Speed I: Minimum performance.
- Speed II: Average performance.
- Speed III: Maximum performance.
Speed III can be used for a short time when bleeding the system. In normal operation it is recommended to select the lowest setting that provides the necessary circulation.
Change setting
The setting is changed via the button on the control unit. A short press switches between the three constant speeds. Holding the button down for approximately 5 seconds switches the pump to proportional pressure mode.
Benefits of the right setup
- Lower electricity consumption.
- Less noise than thermostatic valves.
- Better heat distribution.
- Less hydraulic disturbances in the system.
- More comfortable operation of heating units.
