Grundfos SCALA2 – constant water pressure for the home

Grundfos SCALA2 is a fully integrated, self-priming and compact booster pump for pressure boosting in water supply systems. The integrated speed control adjusts the performance according to demand and maintains a constant pressure at the taps.

Constant pressure at different consumption

SCALA2 measures the outlet pressure and compares it with the preset level. When consumption increases, the control increases the engine speed. When consumption decreases, the speed is reduced. This maintains a stable pressure regardless of the number of open valves and the inlet pressure.

Easy installation

The pump is designed for quick installation. It is necessary to connect the pipes, fill the pump with water and connect to the electrical network. After switching on, SCALA2 starts automatically when water is needed.

Self-priming operation

The self-priming function allows the pump to lift water from a level below the inlet and process a mixture of air and water until a fully filled condition is reached. The maximum recommended suction height is up to 8 m with a properly installed suction installation.

Suitable water
