Control modes

Proportional pressure

With proportional pressure, the pump automatically adjusts its performance to the heat demand. The pressure decreases at lower flow rates and increases at higher flow rates.

This mode is suitable for radiator systems with thermostatic radiator valves that change the flow rate according to the room temperature.

Constant pressure

AUTOADAPT

PWM control

The PWM input allows external control of the pump speed and flow rate via a PWM signal. This mode is only selectable via Grundfos GO.

PWM control provides precise speed regulation, feedback for consumption, flow and status, as well as cable break protection.

Automatic air venting

The system's air detection and bleed feature allows the pump to detect air around the impeller and initiate a sequence of pulsations that push the air to the nearest venting device.

Night mode

Night mode automatically switches between normal operation and the night mode curve when a drop in temperature in the supply pipe of more than 10–15 °C is registered for about two hours.

The factory setting is proportional pressure, AUTOADAPT. The setting can be changed from the control panel or via Grundfos GO according to the type of heating system.
