Grundfos JP PT-H – booster system with horizontal tank

Grundfos JP PT-H is a ready-made booster system for automatic constant pressure water supply. The system includes a JP self-priming pump, a pressure switch, a 20-liter horizontal booster tank and a pressure gauge.

How does the system work?

When you open a tap, the pressure in the system drops. When the set switch-on pressure (2.2 bar) is reached, the pressure switch starts the pump. Water is supplied directly from the pump and the pressure vessel.

When you close the tap, the pressure increases and when the cut-off pressure is reached, the pressure switch stops the pump. The pressure vessel maintains the pressure in the system and provides water at low consumption without starting the pump.

The cut-in pressure is factory set to 2.2 bar. To change the settings, consult a qualified technician.

Hydrophore vessel and components

JP PT-H includes a 20-liter horizontal Grundfos GT-H diaphragm booster tank. The diaphragm separates the water from the air in the tank, with the air cushion providing elasticity to the system.
