Grundfos UNILIFT CC – reliable drainage pump for domestic applications

The Grundfos UNILIFT CC is a single-stage, extremely robust submersible pump designed for pumping grey and slightly contaminated wastewater from domestic appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, sinks, showers and baths. The pump can pump down to a level of just 3 mm and handle solids up to 10 mm.

Installation

UNILIFT CC can be used in vertical, inclined or horizontal position, with the outlet opening being the highest point of the pump. The pump is suitable for portable and stationary installations, including installation on auto-couplings in pumping stations.

For installation in a narrow well, the pump is available with a guide arm for the float. The minimum well dimensions are 300 × 350 mm.

Start and stop levels

The level difference between start and stop can be adjusted by changing the free length of the cable between the float and the pump handle. For correct operation, the free length of the cable should be between 100 mm and 200 mm.

For CC 5 and CC 7 the start level is 350 mm (min. 100 mm) to 400 mm (min. 200 mm) and the stop is 115 mm and 55 mm respectively. For CC 9 the levels are higher due to the larger pump size.

Which model to choose?

  • UNILIFT CC 5: Suitable for small installations with low head (up to 5 m) and moderate flow. Ideal for pumping grey water from one or two sanitary appliances in a basement or for emptying small pools.
  • UNILIFT CC 7: The most versatile model with a balance between head (7 m) and flow rate (10 m³/h). Suitable for larger domestic installations, drainage systems and pumping out flooded basements. Recommended choice for most standard applications.
